Chef's Cap

For more than four decades, restaurateurs and chefs have asked “How do you get a Good Food Guide hat? Can we buy one?” Well, no. Not one of those hats. Since the first Good Food Guide was published in 1980, all restaurants have been reviewed independently and anonymously by the Sydney Moring Herald and The Age to be awarded a coveted chef’s hat (or two, or three). But now, for the first time, a Good Food hat can be bought – in a fetching burnt orange form with an adjustable strap, and proudly made in Australia by Worktones.
