Endless Night - Kitchen Sink Drama - Tea Towel

Tea Towel series based on the Kitchen Sink Drama weekly column in the Good Weekend Magazine featuring written works by Paul Connolly and illustrations by Jim Pavlidis.

Endless Night
Sleep came quickly but by 2am, as usual, Imogen was awake. Max, meanwhile, was dead to the world, snoring contentedly. She knew she should just get up, but she convinced herself sleep would come if she tried hard enough. But the ticking of her mind was too loud. Her to-do lists, as well as more pressing concerns, loomed large, and she worried the edges off them. Was she anxious, she wondered. Over-worked? Under-exercised? Perimenopausal? And would a jury acquit her if she inserted a paring knife between Max’s ribs? Plenty to ponder through the endless night.
