Executing a carefully laid plan, Sonny proposed to a stunned Indira via the jumbo screen at a packed city stadium. “Yes!” she screamed, and the crowd did a Mexican wave to celebrate. Weeks later, Indira got cold feet: “It’s not me, it’s you.” The following year, Sonny asked Gina to be his wife by firing a flaming arrow into a sign that, when ablaze, read “Marry me, Gina.” “Yes!” she screamed, but before the smoke had cleared she began having second thoughts. Four years on, ready to propose to Jade, Sonny had learnt his lesson. No more half-measures.
