Luna Reflection, 1935

Sydney’s Luna Park opened on October 4, 1935, to much fanfare, and has since been a landmark feature of Sydney Harbour. The Herald reported: “To ride on the Big Dipper is to add a new chapter to life.” The ride was removed in 2002 but would later make a comeback.
